Privacy Policy — Interval Reminder

What is collected

Nothing. Interval Reminder does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or usage data. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party SDKs of any kind.

Why that claim is verifiable

The app does not request the INTERNET permission. Android therefore blocks it from opening any network connection at all, so no data can leave your device even in principle. These are the only permissions the app declares:

POST_NOTIFICATIONS	Reminders are delivered as notifications.
USE_EXACT_ALARM SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM	Fires each reminder at the exact minute you configured. Without it, the system may defer reminders and your interval drifts. `SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` is requested only on Android 12 and older.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED	Restores your reminder schedule after the phone restarts.
VIBRATE	Vibration when a reminder fires.

What is stored on your device

Your settings — start time, end time, interval in minutes, and whether reminders are running — are written to app-private storage on your phone. No other app can read it, and it is never uploaded. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

If you have Android's own backup enabled, the system may include this settings file in the backup it makes to your Google account. That backup is performed by Android under your account and control, not by the developer, who has no access to it. You can turn it off in Android's system backup settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children, and since it collects no data, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app ever collects data, this page will be updated before that version is published, and the Play Store Data safety section will be updated to match. The date at the top of this page marks the current version.
